Relax and release mindfulness meditation

Sept. 12, 2017 Group Meditation Part 1 of 2

This 31-minute "Relax and release" mindfulness meditation was given September 12, 2017 by Freeman at the Boundless Love Project’s Group Meditation. After doing this meditation, we suggest you listen to the talk, “Relax and release: Letting go of the past” which was given after this meditation.

Meditation details:

  • This is an insight meditation with the anchor being the sensations of the body. It emphasizes having the courage to feel, love, and accept all feelings, be they pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral. By accepting them and seeing the good in them, we can experience them in a relaxed, calm, and objective manner. By experiencing emotions in a relaxed, calm, and objective manner, the emotions are able to freely move and be released from the body instead of becoming trapped emotional energy.
  • 31-minutes long.
  • Considered an intermediate-level meditation because it contains longer gaps of silence.
  • Contains chanting.

After listening, be sure to listen to the talk, “Relax and release: Letting go of the past”
