The New Freedom Seder for Pesach or Earth Day
Consider using The Shalom Center's New Interfaith Freedom Seder for Pesach or Earth Day (April 22). In their words, "The Shalom Center has created a 40th Anniversary New Interfaith Freedom Seder for the Earth to help us free ourselves from the greatest dangers of our time: What are the Ten Plagues endangering the earth and human life today, and what are the Ten Blessings we ourselves can bring to heal the earth and our own societies?"

Plant-based Pesach
Rabbi Jonathan Klein, Rabbi Eli Soiefer, Rabbi David Rosen, Blossom Star and Scientist Mayim Bialik, and Jewish Veg Executive Director Jeffrey Cohan, explain why a plant-based Seder embodies the values of Pesach.
They also give you the vegan substitutes for your Seder plate. Instead of a shank bone, use a roasted beet to represent the blood of the lamb, without inflicting harm on any living creature. In place of the egg, use a flower or sunflower seeds to represent spring, renewal, and growth, without contributing to the suffering of egg-laying hens.
In addition, they have many delicious vegan recipes to serve at your Seder meal. Enjoy these resources at the Jewish Veg website.
