About the Teacher, Kyaw Win
Kyaw Win is originally from Myanmar. He was raised as a Theravada Buddhist and has been practicing mindfulness meditation since his teenage years. He was trained in the Pa-Auk meditation method, U Ba Khin-Goenka's vipassana and Maha Bodhi Myaing Sayadaw's insight meditation technique.
For the past year and a half, he dedicated himself to full-time practice in forest monasteries such as Bhavana Society, Temple Forest Monastery and Metta Forest Monastery. More recently, he has also been drawn to direct approaches to awakening such as Zen, non-duality teachings and Douglas Harding's Headless Way.
After experiencing the true nature of liberation through gradual awakening, he started teaching at the Washington Buddhist Vihara and offering one-on-one support to those interested in awakening and meditation. He has a professional background in humanitarian assistance and conflict sensitivity programming and holds an MA in International Affairs from the American University in Washington, D.C.
About the Talk: The Four Divine Dwellings
Loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity are taught by the Buddha to be the four principal qualities of the divine nature. As human beings, we all have the capacity to dwell in these divine ways and shine our inner light for ourselves and others. Win will discuss how practicing these qualities mindfully is an integral part of the path to the end of all suffering and stress.

About the Boundless Love Project
We aim to create a global Beloved Community where all humans, animals, and ecosystems thrive. To this end, we work to embody Beloved Community as we promote mindfulness, principled nonviolence, and social justice for all life forms.
We promote the universal values of love, truth, and joyful service, which allows you to use our teachings as a supplement to help you go deeper into whatever wisdom tradition you belong.
Our teachings aim to be inclusive, nonsectarian, welcoming, affirming, and intertraditional. Being intertraditional means that we value and honor all wisdom traditions, whether they be secular, spiritual, or religious, and we welcome people from all wisdom traditions. We aim to be a community where atheists, humanists, and people of all faiths can practice mindfulness together in harmony.
