This Week
This week we have guest presenter, Buddhist mindfulness teacher, Dr. Patrice Koelsch. Formally trained with a Ph.D. in Philosophy, she teaches at Common Ground Meditation Center in Minneapolis and has been facilitating meditation groups in correctional facilities from 1999 until the pandemic precautions interrupted.
Out of love for all beings and life forms, Dr. Koelsch has provided hands-on care for persons in the last stages of HIV/AIDS, and worked for many years in HIV education and client support services. She has a special interest in antiracism work focusing on waking up to whiteness. She has also taught workshops on spiritual care for Buddhist and other religious organizations. She serves on the Board of the Minnesota Multifaith Network and is involved with ISAIAH and Faith in Minnesota in working for a multiracial democracy, a caring economy, and a just climate future. From her heartfelt desire that all beings may be happy and free from suffering, she lives as a vegan.
Dr. Koelsch’s passion is offering mindfulness and loving kindness practice in non-traditional settings, and she will lead us in a loving-kindness meditation and speak on the benefits of having loving-kindness meditation practice.

About the Boundless Love Project
We create a global Beloved Community where all humans, animals, and ecosystems thrive. To this end, we work to embody Beloved Community as we promote mindfulness, principled nonviolence, and social justice for all life forms.
We are an inclusive, nonsectarian, nonprofit that is welcoming, affirming, and intertraditional. Intertraditional means we value and honor all wisdom traditions, whether religious, spiritual, or secular. We welcome people of all faiths and people who embrace secular wisdom traditions. Consider our teachings to be a supplement that will help you go deeper into whatever wisdom tradition you belong.
