There are times when the present moment contains lots of physical pain. Why would we want to be mindful in this situation? How can we be mindful and skillful with physical pain to reduce our suffering? This is a continuation of last week's talk, and we will start by summarizing what was discussed then.
These group meditations are free and open to the public. Feel free to invite any interested friends, family, and colleagues. Our time together includes a 30-minute guided meditation followed by a discussion.
The discussion allows you time to share your experiences, learn from other meditators, ask questions, and get individualized answers to the questions you have regarding your meditation and mindfulness practices.
To stimulate discussion, the group meditation facilitator will have questions, typically regarding your experiences applying the information from previous group meditations.
